Biography

After completing two courses in Photography and Video (both in digital & analogue) at Antonio Arroio, school of Arts in Lisbon, Carlos Filipe Flores at 21, then went on to study 16/35mm Film at the National Film and Television School in England, gaining a vast experience in Image Composition and Lighting techniques.

Since moving to London Carlos has worked as a photographer for the National Geographic London Store, British Museum, Prince Charles Charity, Harrods, Bamford, ASOS, Selfridges and other well known established organisations.

Flores, spent his last 6 years in London working for Universal Music / LatDev as a broadcast video engineer / head of Picture Quality Control.

After 12 years of living in London, Flores moved back to Lisbon and is currently working in various and interesting projects, dedicating him self to his company: Mediaflores.

Flores brings a unique quality to his photography & video, which not only includes his technical approach but also in the ideas he generates, this overall approach help to develop different concepts to his work and pushes boundaries, creating dynamic and ambitious photography and motion Picture, which is greatly appreciated and received by his clients, as well as being admired by all.

Carlos Filipe Flores, was born in Lisbon, around 11:AM on a sunny Spring day in 1983.
